Fall Craze

The day Autumn starts kicks off a hectic season for our family. Besides school there's a plethora of events including birthdays, anniveraries, church events, and shows. We've been blessed this year to get into 5 events after a couple years of slowness. This also means spending any extra moment prepping product and displays. I've been praying I'll get everything on my to do list completed, but it's a doozie! Between school, work, and obligations life's going to be hectic. I hope in the down times, and those moments of rest we sneak in, we enjoy cocoa together. It's a family favorite and a Fall treat we all get excited over. _ _ _ How about you? How is your Fall...

Stickers Over Oopsies

Life is hard. No one said it would be easy. In fact, God told us more than once there would be trials and tribulations. Sometimes I just don’t want to hear that. I want to mope, and perhaps even give in to anger. I detest having my expectation smashed, my dream put on pause by someone else. But it happens. Life happens. Things you orchestrate in your mind don’t always manifest according to your plan. Yes, God’s timing is perfect and on time for the way things should be. But sometimes I don't think UPS gets the memo. Good Leaders Help

Good leaders have certain qualities...those things that help them excel at taking charge of others. One I love is leading by example and really being in the thick of the work. While I know riding amusement rides and sliding down slides isn't work, it can be daunting. My daughter did just that on our getaway. She was wide open, and ready for excitement. But even while going full throttle, I noticed little moments. When she got onto a huge swing ride for the umpteenth time she was set to go having been through all the checks and balances.
